The Workmen's Compensation is
an optional benefit in the Group Life Insurance Scheme. This benefit is subject
to the local law governing Compensation for occupational injuries and
illnesses.
The Company's liability for payment of Compensation for death and permanent
total disability shall be as per Article No. 32 of the Sultani Decree No. 40 of
1977. The compensation is limited to 36 times the monthly basic wage or salary
plus cost of living allowance (if any), provided that it shall not be less than
RO 1300/- and not more than RO 2400/-.
